Ingredients:
- 1/3 Cup Poppy seed
- 3/4 Cup Milk
- 185g Butter
- 3 tsp Vanilla
- 1 Cup CSR Smart fine raw sugar blend
- 3 eggs
- 2 Cups Self raining flour
Method:
- Grease a 14cmx 21cm loaf pan; line with baking paper.
- Combine poppy seeds and milk and stand for 1 hour.
- Heat oven
- Add butter & sugar into electric mixer and cream for 2 minutes.
- Add eggs and vanilla, poppy seed milk mixture to mixer, beat on low speed till combined then turn to medium speed and mix for a few minutes or until colour changes.
- Pour into pan and bake in a moderate oven (approx 180) for 1 hour.
- Stand for at least 10 minutes before turning out.
