Peninsula Hot Springs offers unique relaxation and rejuvenation for mums-to-be and families
Australia's only natural hot springs and day spa centre, Peninsula Hot Springs, has recently opened its stunning second stage of development, offering mothers-to-be and families the chance to relax, revive and socialise in a unique and tranquil environment.
Located near Rye on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula just an hour and a half south of Melbourne, Peninsula Hot Springs features an array of thermal mineral pools of varying temperatures, stylishly integrated into the surrounding landscape, along with therapeutic treatments and pampering experiences including those specifically created to nurture and relax during pregnancy.
Visitors will be welcomed with a series of pampering hand and foot baths, massage chairs and a sleeping relaxation zone, before choosing from an array of experiences and treatments aimed at reviving and revitalising the body, mind and spirit.
Bathing during Pregnancy
 While Peninsula Hot Springs does not recommend full immersion bathing in the hot springs during pregnancy, the hand and foot baths and cooler pools will provide a relaxing, rejuvenating bathing experience for mums-to-be, as well as an ideal environment to socialise with friends and family.
Bathing for Babies, Families and Mother's Groups
Post pregnancy, the joys of Hot Spring bathing can be continued with babies and children, making it the perfect place for families and Mother's groups to spend time together. A bathing area designed specifically for babies aged one to twelve months includes infant pools carved from natural limestone, while the various thermal pools will ensure there is something for everyone...even those who may be shy about putting on a bathing costume.
Spa Dreaming Centre
The Spa Dreaming Centre at Peninsula Hot Springs offers a range of treatments to relax and soothe during pregnancy and beyond, from cool water therapies and treatments for relaxing and reviving to soothing hydrotherapy and beauty treatments designed to rejuvenate.
